We accept both in-network and out-of-network insurance, provided acupuncture is covered by your insurance plan. We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare.

 

While many insurance companies include acupuncture among their benefits, coverage varies widely from one plan to another. Your coverage will depend on your specific carrier and plan. We recommend that you provide us with your insurance information at least two days prior to your appointment so that we can verify your coverage. Once your coverage is confirmed, we bill your insurance company directly. Please be aware that cupping therapy and herbal medicine are not covered by insurance. 

 

If you do not have insurance coverage for acupuncture, you may be able to use Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts towards your visits. These accounts are often available through your employer, consist of your own pre-tax dollars, and can be used towards eligible out-of-pocket health expenses. FSA's and HSA's usually reimburse for acupuncture treatments. Speak to your employer for more information on how to use this benefit.
